From what I've read the pipe is the restriction for the lower output, and it's just pipe send jetting that need to be changed, possibly the spark plug grade is a cooler grade on the full power bike. It should all be in the factory specs regarding carb settings etc. The SM/WRE is less powerful than the non auto lube race/enduro versions, but I've heard the cylinder and heads interchange for the competition bikes.
